The Democratic Republic of Congo is located in Central Africa. Not is it the second largest country in the Africa. 67.51 Million people live in the country and the majority of the population is poverty stricken. The exploitation of resources remains a mystery to those of which who inhabit stable countries. Congo is the Motherland for the entire world when it comes to resources that can benefit the country as well as its people.

THE CONGO RIVER
The Congo River is 2,900miles long and runs through west-central Africa and is second in largest in the Continent right next to the Nile River. The expression “Congo Basin" aka The Congo River, refers to the hydrographic basin. A hydrographic basin is the drainage or an exit area for water from precipitation to and where the river water joins or meets with a large body of water and in this case that is the Atlantic Ocean. The area is very vast but is also covered with a system of tributaries, subtributaries, and small rivers.
